The Requirement
Taylor Woodrow Construction had a requirement for site accommodation for around 60 contracting, supply chain and client staff for the duration of its £47m contract to build Arc - a new mixed-use retail scheme in the centre of Bury St Edmonds.
The Solution
ConstructionSpace supplied three-storey modular accommodation to be on site for two years until Arc is completed. Facilities include:
- Open plan and cellular office accommodation
- Meeting rooms
- Reception
- Changing, locker and shower rooms
- A canteen for up to 200 people.
The building is constructed from 36 pre-fitted steel-framed modules, which were supplied by ConstructionSpace direct from another construction site, eliminating double handling charges and reducing cost and programme.
