The Requirement

Skanska had a requirement for a large modular office building for a new PFI hospital contract in Coventry.

The Solution

A Yorkon modular office complex that ConstructionSpace had purchased from a site in London was recommended as the ideal solution for Skanska.  This building comprised 112 9.75m x 2.94m steel-framed modules arranged over two-storeys.

After inspecting the building and placing an order, the building was dismantled, and transported to Skanska's site in Coventry where it was installed, quickly and efficiently.

Summary

The approach was more cost-effective for Skanska because the building was delivered direct to their site in Coventry from its original location in London, eliminating any double handing costs.

The client was so happy with their building, that they placed a further order for a large canteen and a security and induction centre shortly afterwards - an excellent endorsement of the ConstructionSpace approach.
