Tarmac National Contracting has been awarded a highways maintenance contract for the West Midlands, worth £7m a year for up to eight years. A site office building was required to a challenging timescale in order to mobilise the contract and accommodate up to 50 civil engineering site and project staff.

The pre-owned modular building was sourced by ConstructionSpace, significantly reducing the lead time compared to a new building, and providing a more sustainable solution for Tarmac.

The site office building in Walsall comprises open plan and cellular accommodation, meeting room, shower room and welfare facilities with kitchenette.
