Foremans Relocatable Building Systems, the UK’s largest provider of pre-owned modular buildings, has expanded its ConstructionSpace site accommodation operation with a new staff appointment.
Gordon Lumsden has joined the ConstructionSpace team as Business Development Manager.
Based at the ConstructionSpace office in Dunstable, Gordon will work closely with leading building contractors and housebuilders nationwide, who have a need for quality site accommodation during the construction of major projects such as motorways and civil engineering schemes, PFI health, local authority, commercial, retail and housing developments.
He will be involved in the supply of pre-owned modular buildings from inception and order to completion and handover, ensuring a seamless and efficient service.
Gordon has around seven years’ experience in the modular building sector and joins Foremans from Shepherd Group subsidiary and sister company, Portakabin AirCare.
ConstructionSpace is believed to be the first web-based service in the UK to provide pre-owned modular buildings for sale to construction companies on a site-to-site basis. The approach is fast and cost effective, eliminating double handling charges.
Site accommodation procured through ConstructionSpace ranges in size from 100 to 3000 sqm and is immediately available for use as project offices, canteens, locker rooms, training and induction rooms and security offices. Many of the buildings supplied are pre-fitted with partitions, kitchens and reception areas, saving time and further reducing costs.
In addition to its sales service, ConstructionSpace will consider purchasing steel-framed modular buildings that contractors no longer have a need for. A flexible buy-back option is also available for any building supplied.
